Getting Started With Alien Worlds Union Daos

The Alien Worlds Union DAO System opens up new ways for players to actively shape the metaverse by proposing, supporting, and contributing to innovative projects. This guide will walk you through the essential steps of becoming a citizen, voting, staking, and participating in the Union DAOs.

Introduction

The Alien Worlds Worker Proposal System is designed to empower players, developers, and creators by offering funding opportunities for projects that benefit the Alien Worlds metaverse. Union DAOs are decentralized autonomous organizations where community members can propose ideas, participate in governance, and receive funding for their innovative work. The system includes roles like custodians, arbiters, and workers, each contributing to the growth and success of Alien Worlds.

Becoming a Citizen

To participate in the Union DAO, you must first become a citizen of one of the six planets in the Alien Worlds metaverse. This involves signing the member terms for your chosen planet.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Union DAO section in the UI.
  2. Select the planet you wish to become a citizen of (Neri, Naron, Magor, Veles, Eyeke, or Kavian).
  3. Read and agree to the member terms for that planet.
  4. Once you’ve signed the member terms, you’re now eligible to convert your Trilium into planetary tokens and participate in elections. (coming soon)

Converting Trilium into Planetary Tokens

To engage with the Union DAO elections, you’ll need to convert your Trilium into planetary tokens. These tokens give you voting power and enable you to stake and vote in weekly custodian elections.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Stake Trilium section of the UI.
  2. Choose the planet you’re a citizen of and convert your Trilium into that planet’s governance token (Eyeunn, Velunn, Kavunn, Magunn, Nerunn, or Narunn).
  3. Your planetary tokens are now ready to be used for staking and voting.

Steps:

  1. In the UI, go to the Vote Power section.
  2. Select your planetary tokens and choose the amount you’d like to allocate for voting power.
  3. Click Stake to lock in your tokens and gain voting power.
